The Weird and Wonderful World of Andrea King
If you've found this page, you're about to go down the rabbit hole of Andrea's World.
This is my HOW, my WHY, and what has made me WHO I AM today.
To Live is a Gift. To Live Well Takes Practice.
I believe we are creators in every moment, with every thought, every action and every word we speak, we get to choose the world we live in.
In my experience, failure is a gift, and every time I get up, I have learned something. My greatest teachers in life are nature, animals, and people, and I learn the most just by observing and responding.
I'm an artist in every way and my greatest joy is in creating spaces and experiences so people can live more fully, feel more deeply, and explore every wonderful aspect of being human.
Thoughts Create Reality
A positive mind creates a positive life. Follow your instincts, and live by your senses. Connect to your inner child's innocence, and experience everything as if new.
Taste. Touch. Smell. Feel. Feel deeply.
Devour all of the beautiful parts of the world, and you'll become as beautiful as what you see. Be aware of what you eat, what you watch, what you listen to. It all becomes part of you. What do you want to be? How do you want to show up in the world?
Food and Touch are my LOVE LANGUAGES
You are what you eat, and what you think while you're eating.
Whatever you are thinking about while you ingest foods and drinks will become something you get to digest. Be aware of that when you aren't feeling well, and work through the challenging thoughts before eating or drinking.
Be mindful and present while consuming, and appreciate what is in front of you, whether it's a naturally healthy treat, or a huge slice of delicious chocolate cake. Your attitude about what you eat is just as important as the food itself.
I feel that each person is unique and needs something different. Aside from basic dietary differences, we all need different environments to thrive. It's all valid. Do what YOU need to do to feel great. Eat what you need to, and avoid what doesn't work for you. Listen to your body, and feed it what it thrives on, but don't beat yourself up when you crave something that's purely recreational food...
A healthy body comes from healthy thoughts and deep appreciation for the body itself.
Our human bodies are amazing biological, organic machines. Feed them with healthful nutritients and they will respond in kind. Don't forget to indulge in what brings you joy, even if it's Cheez-Its and Muddy Buddies or a Hostess Cupcake... Make it an exception and not a rule and thank your body for easily digesting it. Feed your inner child... pancakes. Seriously. Remember to smile and feel the joy when you do. You can even make gluten free banana pancakes if your body prefers that.
Take a moment to look at what's on your fork before you put it in your mouth. The art of sensual eating brings you closer to the things you are ingesting. Smell, taste, look, and appreciate every morsel of food and soon you'll find yourself slowing down enough to enjoy all of life.
Even better, eat without a fork, and combine flavors. Try new things, and savor, savor, savor!!!
Practice mindful eating, breathing, walking, talking, and living. Live gently. Live innocently...
With Love ALWAYS!
I thank my dear friend Krishna, who showed me the art of sensual eating, and the ways of instinctive living. You were the first to teach me to truly feel energy, tangibly, and show me how to be mindful.
I still miss you, dear one, and hear your laughter every day. Thank you for sharing yourself, and your love of living with so many people while you were here. Your playful nature touched so many lives, and your innocent, and inquisitive ways live on through us. Your dream of The Instinctive Living Institute has certainly manifested in many places... Love you always!
Light Tribe Earth - What the heck?
In 2010, I was in Mt. Shasta, CA for a ceremony on the 10-10-10 gateway portal. This was the turning point for me and my first real spiritual awakening.
During the ceremony, the woman leading it referred to the grouop of about 200 people as the "Light Tribe of Gaia" (Gaia means Earth). She probably said that phrase 100 times throughout the day, and something resonated in the center of my being.
During that trip I held shapeshifting crystal skulls in my hands, participated in several sound healings, laughed at constant synchronicities, and explored the magical area of Mt. Shasta, which became my favorite place on Earth.
Not long after that trip, I began to feel the desire to connect with people who were exploring the same things I was. Ya know, looking for like-minded people is a pretty human thing I guess. I created a thing I called "Light Tribe Earth". By a "thing" I mean, I didn't want to be a cult leader or anything, but I felt the power of leading by example with love, respect, and integrity. So the guiding principles of Light Tribe Earth are exactly that.
Light Tribe Earth Values
~ Light Tribe Earth believes personal power and integrity may be restored by addressing emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual blockages.
~ We are here to create and hold space for the freedom of human beings, knowing that we can only change ourselves, and support each other in doing the same.
~ We honor each other's gifts, in the highest integrity of cooperation and share tools from many traditions, ancient and newly discovered.
~ We value all spiritual and religious beliefs as valid, and use the tools that work best for us as individuals.
~ We strive to be the best we can, in each moment, sharing an Earth experience, in different places on our paths. In any moment, there is a teacher and a student for us.
~ We are in service to the greatest good for all beings, always.
~ We participate respectfully, stepping into our full potential by discovering the gifts we have to share.
My "woo-woo" self
The 2010 journey unlocked new parts of me, and I began to question, and get answers to, who I am, and why I'm here.
I was in Mt. Shasta again in 2012 for the full solar eclipse that happened, literally right over us. I was there with an amazing spiritual guide, and a couple friends. It was intense, and emotional.
I visited again in December 2012, right after the 12-21-12 situation. The way i see it is that there is always another deadline in place to keep us moving. These portals, turning points, and significant dates give us somethign to look forward to, anbd a reason to keep going and see what will happen next!
In 2014 I took another trip with Krishna and Freddie. We explored, climber, caved, laughed, played, and enjoyed every moment together.
After a big turning point in my life, I painted Mt. Shasta over my bed so I can connect to her wonderful loving energy while I dream...
being an empath
Learning that I am an empath was another huge weird moment in my life. If you are one, you probably remember the moment you realized all the crap you feel isn't yours.
I became more fascinated with energy, and creating spaces and reality, so thenext logical step was to learn Feng Shui!
Sounds silly, but I figured that a discipline with several thousands of yers of agreement had to have some power behind it, and I quickly saw it in action right after my first training weekend!
Feng Shui was my gateway to being very observant about how people think and speak, and what shows up in their life. It's real. I don't try to convince anyone about what I can see, but ask me, and I'd be happy to share.
I started a company called "Flowganize" which was all about flow and organization. I use these concepts today in our work to help people declutter lots of things. I published a book, finally, after Jeremie and I got together in 2019.
I'd like to say I created a community around it. There is a Facebook group the book refers to, but honestly, I am not actively working on this, even with several partly completed books.
I would love to hear from you if this book helps you in any way!
ready to kick your own butt?
5D flow book
are you done making excuses?
being a weird human
So as for these days, I'm still quite interested in being interested in many things, so I continue to start new things, and leave them half finished while I see another shiny object. Ironically, Jeremie and I are working on a new endeavor about commnicaton and boundaries, which should help me tame my squirrels... maybe. Or at least have a bunch of them in a row?
I embrace my weirdness and offer it to those who can handle it. We work it into our business, offering some pretty unique ideas to our clients. I'm into being weird. If you like weird, let's connect!
I've learned to manage my time so I can give whoever I am with my full attention. I check email about once a day and respond to texts and messages about twice a day. I love to connect, and this practice has created quality communications in my life.
The phone listed number below gets a lot of spam, so I rarely pick up unless I have your number saved. You can text or leave a message, and I'll get back to you when I can give you my full attention. Here are most of the places my work appears on the vast interwebs... If I have mentioned it in a blog, podcast or video, you'll likely find a link here. If you can't find what you are looking for, contact me.
